About
My journey in film and entertainment began when I graduated from the Los Angeles Film School in 2004 with a focus on directing and production design. From the start, I was driven by a passion for storytelling and a desire to bring diverse voices and perspectives to the screen. My short film Eric, which follows a gay teenager discovering his first love, earned me a fellowship with the Film Independent Project: Involve program. There, I worked under the mentorship of director Sergio Arau, best known for the film A Day Without a Mexican, an experience that helped sharpen my craft and deepen my understanding of filmmaking. Since then, my work has expanded across multiple forms of storytelling. I have written, produced, and directed several independent projects, including short films and music videos. In addition to filmmaking, I am also a self-published author and the creator of The Late Hour: Stories for the Insomniac, an anthology series of urban suspense stories. Working as both a filmmaker and writer has shaped the way I approach storytelling—focusing on character, atmosphere, and emotionally grounded narratives. Whether on the page or behind the camera, my goal is always the same: to create stories that stay with people long after the final frame or final page.
